Overwatch Coach: Real-Time Compliance Email and Social Content Guidance Now - 6/30/25
Overwatch Coach brings AI-powered compliance oversight directly into the copywriting creation process, whether it's an email or a social post. As advisors draft copy in the FMG platform, the tool provides instant, contextual feedback on potential compliance issues—helping them align with FINRA and SEC standards before hitting submit. This proactive approach reduces the volume of submissions requiring manual edits, helps content move through review faster, and enables advisors to communicate more confidently—all while easing the burden on compliance teams. This feature is available for the Home Office add-on. To learn more, please reach out to our success team at homeofficesupport@fmgsuite.com.
Why It Matters:

Feature Update: Middle Initial in Email Signature - 6/5/25
FMG is updating the email signature format to include each user’s middle initial, which is pulled from the Profile > Contact Information section. Until now, even if a user entered a middle initial in their profile (and it was approved by Compliance), it was not displayed in email signatures due to a system limitation. To work around this, we advised users to manually insert their middle initial into either their First or Last Name field to ensure it showed up in their email signatures. With this update, middle initials will now appear automatically in the email signature format: John A. Smith. This applies to all email types within the FMG platform: Custom Emails, Email Sequences, and Automated Emails.
This does not affect the “Company Name” signature format. A very small number of users with a middle initial currently inserted as part of their first/last name (using workaround) will need to manually update their contact info by moving the middle initial to the dedicated field and removing it from the name fields. FMG has already communicated directly with these users. No additional action is required from home offices unless advisors reach out needing help adjusting their profile fields.
%20(1000%20x%20500%20px)%20(10).png?width=1000&height=500&name=Enterprise%20page%20(858%20x%20716%20px)%20(1000%20x%20500%20px)%20(10).png)
FAQs:
Where is the middle initial added?
It’s added to the email signature for all email tool users for all email types, including custom emails, email sequences, and automated emails.
What should users do if they previously added their Middle Initial to the First or Last Name field? Users will need to update their Contact Information by removing the Middle Initial from the First or Last Name field and placing it in the designated Middle Initial field for accurate display.
Does this update affect compliance? Contact information added to FMG accounts remains necessary for compliance review. This update does not impact existing compliance workflows and should enhance compliance for subscribers who need to include their middle initial in their email signature.
Relocated "Group Requests" in Compliance Admin - 5/28/25
We are relocating the "Groups" menu item within the Compliance Admin - from under "Subscriber Cases" to its own standalone navigation item, now labeled "Group Requests." This change will improve navigation and ensure that the Compliance Admin can efficiently access and manage group-related requests. A ticker number badge will alert admin users to pending requests, improving workflow. The change eliminates unnecessary drop-downs within "Subscriber Cases."
What's Changing?
The "Groups" feature, previously a drop-down under "Subscriber Cases" in the Compliance Admin left navigation, will become its parent navigation item titled "Group Requests."
Who does this affect?
This change will primarily affect Compliance Admin within a select number of programs utilizing the "Content Group Change Requests" feature.
Key Benefits:
This change enhances user efficiency by providing a more transparent navigation structure and ensures that the Compliance Admin is promptly alerted to "Group Requests" that need attention.
%20(1000%20x%20500%20px)%20(9).png?width=1000&height=500&name=Enterprise%20page%20(858%20x%20716%20px)%20(1000%20x%20500%20px)%20(9).png)
Additionally, we have hidden "Group Requests" for programs who do not utilize the feature.
New Sent Automaton Email History View in Publisher Admin - 5/28/25

This update helps home offices quickly verify the email automation send activity. It's particularly beneficial for home offices dealing with multiple agency automations and emails, as it provides a clear view of past activities and compliance statuses.
What's Changing?
Within the Publisher account, the Manage > Automations page now features a "View History" button. This addition allows Publisher users to access a detailed history page that lists all automations connected to your agency, including each sent email and its send date. Furthermore, the compliance status of each email is clearly displayed, offering insights into delivery success and any compliance-related issues.
Where to Find It:
- View History Button: A new "View History" button has been added to the Automations page.
%20(1000%20x%20500%20px)%20(7).png?width=1000&height=500&name=Enterprise%20page%20(858%20x%20716%20px)%20(1000%20x%20500%20px)%20(7).png)
- View History Page: When "View History" is clicked, users are brought to the history page, which provides a comprehensive list of all automations connected to the agency, the emails sent for each automation, and their send dates.
%20(1000%20x%20500%20px)%20(8).png?width=1000&height=500&name=Enterprise%20page%20(858%20x%20716%20px)%20(1000%20x%20500%20px)%20(8).png)
- Compliance Status: Users can see the compliance status of sent emails, clarifying why certain emails may not have been delivered to specific recipients. Note: Compliance Status is not a new feature, but this UI is improved for visibility.

How can users see who scheduled an email to be sent? While this information is unavailable, we plan to add the scheduling user's name in future updates.

Custom Coding for Website Page Headers - 4/30/25
This update is specific to those involved in website coding, such as teams at your firm or designers within offices managing website builds. You can now insert code into the <head> of individual website pages, so users can tailor specific page features without impacting all the pages on their entire website. All website accounts with the Developer Theme will receive this update. This change aims to enhance user experience by facilitating targeted page customization while leaving the rest of the site unaffected.
What's Changing?
Previously, code could only be added to the global <head>, affecting all pages uniformly. Now, users can insert custom code into the <head> of individual pages, enabling page-specific customization. This feature is available in the “Advanced Settings” section at the bottom of the Website Page Editor.
Key Benefits:
- Enhanced Control: Users can now customize individual pages with unique functionalities, such as Google Tag Manager and specific font settings.
- Improved Performance: Users can limit heavy embed codes to the pages that require them, optimizing website performance.
- Streamlined Integration: Users can implement tools and tracking codes on a page-by-page basis for more precise analytics.
Timing:
This update is now available to all Website Suite subscribers using the Developer Theme, allowing immediate access to enhanced customization options.
%20(1000%20x%20500%20px)%20(1).gif?width=1000&height=500&name=Enterprise%20page%20(858%20x%20716%20px)%20(1000%20x%20500%20px)%20(1).gif)
Common Questions:
Will updates to the <head> code on individual pages go through Compliance for approval before being made live on the user's website? No, these updates will not create a compliance case for approval. These changes will be made live when the user publishes them. This process is similar to how the "Custom CSS" tab currently functions in the "Advanced Settings." The code entered in this section only affects the page's styling and backend tags, not the page's content.
Can changes to an individual page <head> code be reverted? No, changes made to this section are not compliance-related and cannot be reverted using the “Revert” action. They must be manually removed and republished if necessary.
Can users use this feature to add Google Analytics to specific pages? Yes, users can add tracking and analytics code to individual pages using this feature.
Is there a risk of breaking a user's website with this feature? While there is always a risk when adding custom code, any issues can be quickly resolved by removing the problematic code and republishing the page.
This update will enable users to customize individual website pages, enhancing functionality and performance without affecting the entire site. As always, feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Compliance Dashboard Update: Introducing the "All Submissions" Page - 4/9/2025
The new "All Submissions" page is now available. To enhance efficiency and streamline compliance processes, we’ve updated the Compliance Dashboard for Home Office Compliance Teams. This page consolidates all Subscriber Submissions into one easy-to-use, filterable, and sortable view, helping you save time and work more effectively. As part of this update, you’ll notice minor changes to the Compliance Dashboard, including updated titles and a revised order in the left navigation menu. Learn how to save preferences here. As a reminder, in early Q3, we plan to remove the “Subscriber Cases” tabs on the left navigation of the Compliance Admin. (This change is being implemented because the “All Submissions” page will now house all the “Subscriber Cases” filters.)
What's Changing?
With the new "All Submissions" page, Compliance Teams can access all submission types in one place—eliminating the need to navigate multiple pages. However, for now, you can still access specific submission types through their respective navigation tabs. These tabs will eventually be phased out to simplify the user experience.
%20(1000%20x%20500%20px)%20(5).png?width=1000&height=500&name=Enterprise%20page%20(858%20x%20716%20px)%20(1000%20x%20500%20px)%20(5).png)

Rollout Timing:
- Now live: Left navigation text and titles updated
- Late Q1/Q2: The "All Submissions" page goes live with foundational features (Submission Type column, filtering, and saved settings).
- 90 Days After Release: The "Subscribers Cases" tab will be removed from the left navigation.

Can I customize the page view? Yes, users can save filtering options for future use.
Will I lose access to any current features? No, the new page enhances existing capabilities without removing features.
How does the saving feature work? The system remembers your preferred filters and columns on a single device and applies them automatically when you return.
